My paintings are driven by my obsessive curiosity of the natural world, and I want to inspire that precious child-like wonder in my viewers.
Whether imagining the forces of nature personified or exploring the fascination and awe we experience when looking at the world, these subjects have always just naturally surfaced in my work. I’m continuously inspired by imagining worlds that could be or could have been.
I leave my visual storytelling open to interpretation, rather than packaging particular emotions or messages. I want the viewer to share in the storytelling, so I leave the door cracked just enough to peek in and enter a world fueled by their own imagination.
I just spent the summer in London working on a commission and am now living in Dubai to do another large commission. My life-long dreams are becoming a reality.
