As a photographer, I'm interested in capturing the intricate relationships between people, nature, places and objects. In my opinion, photography serves as a powerful tool- A means to attentively observe, question and ultimately better understand the signs of our time. By photographing singular details, mundane juxtapositions and curious characters, I seek to explore the various values, issues and realities tied to our shared contemporary human experience.
Photography has inspired me to pay special attention to urban centers where the irony of coexistence can be felt and is manifested through solitude, anonymity and the overlooked proximity we have to others. Through this process, I wish to spark curiosity and consciousness for what surrounds us; exploring the innate temporality of being and its universality.
