I am an illustrator from Ukraine, who is breaking into the industry. Currently I’m the most interested in creating greeting card illustrations and fashion art.
The main sources of inspiration to me are contemporary art, fashion, art-house movies, Ukrainian traditional art, and Eastern art.
What about the process of creation, I often write short fairy tales with the main concept and then I create a series of sketches for it, which I use as the dummies for the future artworks.
I create my illustrations using watercolors on paper first, and then I scan them and edit using Adobe Photoshop. My illustrations can be characterized as colorful, fancy, whimsical hand drawn artworks with frequent use of complimentary colors and, sometimes, with the use of ethnic motifs.
