Music has always been very important to me. This series started with a song flashing a vision into my imagination. It was a form of synesthesia that I haven't experienced since the first one. The other images are continued efforts to search my imagination for other images that I see during a song. It's never the whole song...it's more about how a melody, hook, or chorus takes you deep into that feeling that music is able to give you like nothing else can. I saw this image when I was mowing the lawn - immediately went inside and sketched - this is really close to what my sketches look like and also one of my favorites that came out of that personal project.
