What we are comfortable with
(A visual representation of the absurd)
I had been carrying around all these images of the things that I find crazy. This series represents our casual relationship with extinction and destruction. I began my series of “Terrible Beauty” after a dream in which there was nothing left but a blank taupe television screen.
I Imagined Cows In A Field
Driving through the Eastern Townships we came to a field filled with small plastic houses as far as the eye could see.
The Roads to No Where
An aerial view of the Athabasca River with surrounding Boreal Forest destruction and tailing ponds.
Testing The Waters
Migratory Birds are forced to land in toxic tailing ponds, due to habitat destruction for the Tarsands.
