My work focuses on positive representation of masculinities based on emotional openness, care and solidarity. I believe illustration is a powerful medium through which we can foster more positive representations and provide better models in the public space. Informed by queer theories, I try to show different versions of men could be and do together, beyond toxic homosocial behaviours. More broadly, I like to draw people looking at each other, and looking at us, to remind us that looking is an important part of life and that we should be careful of how we look at things.
