In 2018 I explored abstracts and it has made its way into my figurative work over the last few years. These are some of the pieces that have resulted from this collaboration of abstract and surreal portraiture.
My work has always been influenced by emotions and the human experience. Lately I've started to notice that my state of mind seems to seep out of works I'm creating, a lot in the colors. When I'm going through a harder time in my mental and physical world my work has a much more saturated palette but when I'm feeling grounded and in flow I use a more muted palette.
