This summer I am painting in the studio of a friend in Marseille and the warm southern light has definitely influenced my paintings. Here are a few paintings inspired by the southern sun and the colours of the streets of Marseille. Some of them will be exhibited in August in a group show titled “How to Heal a Sunburn” at the Ars Longa Gallery in Aix en Provence.
