This photographic project was developed on the mountains of Liguria, Italy.
It is a metaphoric meditation on solitude, silence, death and the relationship between reality and fiction.
Silence is calmness, tranquillity. It is absence of sound. When there is silence nobody can hear anything. Silence is emptiness, the exact opposite of everyday life. Silence is a unique opportunity to get to know yourself. So many times I met people who spent their whole lives without knowing who they were, guided and leveled by the 20th Century. Silence is a powerful weapon if you recognize its importance. It is the spark that ignites a complicated “internal dialogue”.
