Lee focuses on still life; primarily objectifying food to mimic every day commodities. Appearing to work with vivacious flowers and exotic produce, Lee also interrogates the boundary of his own sexuality between disarray and harmony; a manifestation of Lee’s theoretical philosophy which correlates each work from his social, political, and environmental background. Not knowing where he sits on the spectrum, Lee observes the fine line of the two polar opposites and accompanies each photograph with opposite tones and forms.
