I have always been drawn to the idea of memory. What does it feel like to revisit an image from the past–to dig deep within your mind and unearth a distant feeling, object, or place? Memories are beautiful in that they are fleeting. As time passes, you may find yourself unable to recall certain details - filling in the gaps with intuition and feeling until it becomes something that feels dream-like.
My paintings encapsulate that feeling and the stillness of those spaces.
