In 2021, Timothée suffered severe injuries due to a snowboarding accident. He was hospitalized for three months, unable to walk during that time. His love for snow and snowy landscapes had turned into a source of trauma. The following year, to confront his fears, Timothée went on a journey to Hokkaido, known for its heavy snowfall. With deep snow, blizzards, and the play of reflected light, the emotional expedition to Hokkaido became a healing experience for him. Also, it allowed the artist to reconnect with snow and nature. At the same time, it gave him an idea perhaps this personal journey could resonate with others. While everyone’s trauma is not the same, the presence of snow might possess a universal power that appeals to all of us.
Aiming to explore the positive impact of nature on both body and mind.
