In this project, I intend to reveal and explore my experience of masculinity not in an objective way, but by focusing on the stages and relationships through which men and women lead gendered lives. And also, how this can encourage other men to embrace the different facets of his masculinity. I want to make it clear that in doing this project, I am not asserting or claiming that masculinity must be one way. I simply like the idea that a man can open himself without feeling judged by other man. By making these images in various regions of Peru, I was capable to initiate a dialogue with strangers who posed in front of my camera. I can affirm that once the barrier of uncertainty was crossed, there was an intense feeling of freedom and release. Something that maybe all man need to be what we 'need to be'.
