Sya (Siyu Zhang) is a personal artist from Shanghai, mainly involved in digital media, installation, and performing arts. She is good at building an immersive atmosphere and uses critical design and speculative design to guide the emotional interaction between the audience and her works. She observes human emotions very carefully and is very interested in touch and skin texture. Since she was deeply influenced by the spread of Taoism in China during her childhood, her works always have a mystery from the East. She also firmly believes that the mystery, origin, and story of mankind can find the answers we want in an unknown place in the East.
What's more, she currently studying at Goldsmiths, University of London for Ma-Expanded Practice, and also she is trying to make and cooperate in cross-border art.
