Seye's work is inspired by his experiences, environment, and country of origin, Nigeria. His style is influenced by graphic novels and comics, with each piece focused on Black Nigerian characters telling different stories.
From mundane everyday life to heavy introspection, Seye's passion for storytelling and focus on details makes each illustration visually compelling.
Seye has earned an MA in illustration from the University of Hertfordshire. He is a full-time freelance artist currently based in Lagos, Nigeria and also a Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA) member. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
