This project is dedicated to ambiguity of the constant self investigation. Inspired by thoughts of Milan Kundera “... the absolute absence of a burden causes man to be lighter than air, to soar into the heights, take leave of the earth and his earthly being, and become only half real, his movements as free as they are insignificant.”, — I am questioning what can represent a burden nowadays? Did romanticism become the premise for the burden nowadays in modern western society. Nowadays as never before it is possible to develop yourself physically and mentally all one’s life. There are more possibilities to change: profession, partner, country, sex, religion etc. as many times as possible. Aren’t these the ideal circumstances? Is it really a burden or a lightness to investigate yourself nowadays? Is there a limit?
