As a plein air painter it is great to become one with the landscape in the middle of nature. I made a series on small canvas boards measuring 30x30 cm and put the scottish landscape smoothly. Because I wanted to work quickly, I opted for acrylic paint and that works easily in the open air.

Wim van de Wege studied visual arts and art at the Willem de Kooning Academie.
