Say Lou Lou – You’re The One

Elektra and Miranda Kilbey are back with a cover of Kate Bush’s "You’re The One". The song is a lovers lament, steeped in their ever dreamy harmonies and melancholic beats. The duo play two sides of the same woman, each battling her own inner obstacles which manifest into physical realities when trying to leave a relationship. The song is about the different choices we each make in love, that limbo of deciding to stay or leave. We decided to play with the duality of the twins very directly and present these alternate versions of a love that might exist and simultaneously be a dream. We were inspired by the Dogma filmmakers, so we set rules for the video as if it were a film. We never see the two girls in the same frame, Elektra is only ever seen outside and Miranda is only seen inside the house to echo these two versions.
