That tunnel is the Rua Morais Soares, where everybody seems so busy, they can’t take time to see what is going on around them.Before the last ray greets the city good night, for about 10 to 15 minutes the high buildings full of glass windows in patterns like boxes serve as a conductor for this light to flash the avenue. The pavement turns yellow, and the cars, and so does everybody’s faces. A legion of shadows cross the street from one side to another, bikes, kids, dogs, pigeons. A full sensory experience that repeats itself almost everyday for an instance before the magic goes away and the night falls upon the City of Light.
