Susan Nolen-Hoeksema, researcher and head of the Yale's psychology department, called the Overthinking, (or "Rumination - Rebounding"), as "The tendency to respond to a disorder focusing on the causes and consequences of our problems without taking any action of concrete problem solving ". This condition is related to a number of problems and disorders including depression, substance abuse, anxiety syndromes, stress and insomnia.
Made during these sleepless nights, the "Restless" photographic series, consisting of a total of 16 self-portraits, transforms my mental landscape derived from this experience into an expressive form, giving birth to feelings and emotions emerged from my subconscious.
