‘Reflections’ is a series taken over two summers in London. The photographs look at the formation of urban ecosystems through spontaneous and engaging public activity. By exploring the unique networks that form through collective celebration the series explores the relationship between urbanity, identity, and captures moments of pure joy found through community. Given the current climate and our inability to share public experiences, we are reminded of the quality diverse human activity gives to our urban landscapes. In the context of Covid-19, ‘Reflections’ asks what the future of our shared public engagement will look like and how this may begin to impact the development of community and personal identity.
