I’m a painter who works with acrylic, oil, and collage, primarily focused on abstraction. Much of my inspiration comes from things that are mostly good but slightly off, like a song sung off-key.
I’m drawn to the objects around me, the people I meet, the materials I find, and the energy they give off. I like how life wears things down and I love spending my time admiring the beautiful world I live in.
Over time, I’ve become less uptight, and I now prioritize experimentation and the sense of liberation that painting provides. When I'm working, nothing ever feels fixed; everything is always up for change. I think the best work comes from having a balance of trying really hard while also not trying at all.
