The biggest inspiration for my realistic paintings are the seas and oceans. As the cradle of life and an expression of the force of nature, they arouse endless admiration and respect. However, sensitizing the viewer to the preservation and protection of nature is also of great importance to me. The diversity of the water represents an artistic challenge for me, but at the same time gives a great opportunity for experiments in technique, colour and compositition. My favourite materials are oil paints combined with different mediums, which I use on linen canvases, aluminium and wooden boards. With the help of my instruments I hope to give my philosophy the best possible expression - and also simply to grant aesthetic enjoyment.
