Photography for me is a conversation between my outer world and inner world. In our society we consider photographs to be a truthful document of the world around us. In my work I blur the line between truth and fiction. My work offers clues to our world around us, like bubble wrap, or holographic stickers. These elements are taken out of context layered with paint splatters and reflected against mirrored surfaces. My most recent body of work deals with nostalgila using objects I associate with my own childhood. I find nostalgia to be both a wonderful and sad experience. I still get a sense of joy when looking back at objects and images that used to fill my childhood. At the same time living so much in the past makes you miss out on the good things around you right now. In each piece, I try to find a balance of joyfulness and som
