I am a California artist/designer currently residing in Carmel Valley, Ca. My work in the last two years has been solely working with ink on paper. I have exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the US as well as in museums and art fairs. Professionally, I ran two graphic design studios (Nina Temple Design) in Monterey, California and Annapolis, Maryland, where my work received numerous awards.
The series "Quaranta" includes inks on paper, created during the COVID-19 pandemic. This title goes back to the Middle Ages, referring to a time when plague epidemics surfaced throughout coastal cities in Italy. This practice, called "quarantine" was derived from the Italian words "quaranta giorni" which mean 40 days.
