Hello! My name is Andrew Gluschenko and I'm an artist and developer based in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I'm interested in generative art and design and I like to explore the convergence of the digital and tangible worlds. The work I'd like to share with you is called `Quadricorallia Lamp`. The shade of this lamp is algorithmically generated and 3d printed. The algorithm behind this work is called differential line growth. It simulates the kind of growth that can be observed in natural structures like corals for example.
