Pure Imagination, Quiet Urges is part of the txt_scape series, which transforms everyday personal writings into landscapes on canvas. The series was inspired by two keychains I discovered during a trip, each inscribed with a phrase: "Pure Imagination" and "Quiet Urges." As a continuation of the Island Blues series, Pure Imagination, Quiet Urges delves deeper into the concept of the "transposed body" in textual form, imagining it as fragmented flesh. Overlaid on these text forms are the deconstructed silhouettes of women’s bodies, symbolising a reconciliation between the two realms.
