The energy is seen in the marks that are present in the work. Presenting the world form solely form a subjective perspective, distorting the figures radically for the emotional effect in order to evoke moods or ideas. The paintings are representations of living power that comes out form inside the paintings. As an Expressionist Painter I do not look at the subject when I paint, but I rather "SEE" images unfolding before me as I paint. The images become the reality and that reality is transferred into the canvas.
