I started taking photographs after working as a model throughout my teenage years. Being behind the lens, I wanted to capture intimate and honest moments of tenderness. Through photographing my friends, my mother, other artists, I began to cherish the trust it takes to make a portrait. My goal is for the women I photograph to feel comfortable and seen. Taking photos is almost a meditation and dance, between the subject and photographer. I want these images to be a contemplation on intimacy and seeing women in strength, dreaminess, light and shadows.
