This is a series of experimental portraits where I try to explore not only the boundaries between classic photography and basic sculpting but also digital and analog image making while bringing in memories from my childhood.
At our house there was this "forbidden supernatural cabinet" where my brother kept a horror/sci-fi VHS movies archive and my dad stored his (at the time) weird and mysterious Prog-Rock LP's.
Remembering that cabinet and it's 80's sci-fi, horror and adventure movies (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Big Trouble in Little China, Cocoon...) and Storm Thorgerson's album artworks, this collection of images aims to add a supernatural and fantastic layer to the standard composition portraits.
