My work, which is articulated around the lines of the body and textures, carries a part of mystery. Using fragments, I try to create a visual poetry made up of abstractions and illusions. The delicate lines, the curves, the shades of gray and the aspect of the materials (marble and bronze) contribute to the setting up of an intimate experience.
Using an analog camera, I try to visually transform the material of the subject as well as that of the environment that surrounds it. This relatively slow process is important to me to transpose a particular universe in order to pay tribute to the beauty of the human figure and to the delicate shapes given to marble and bronze in order to create the illusion of life.
