My work is heavily influenced by poetry. I call my pieces "Visual Poems" as I use them to represent the relationship between different human emotions such as melancholy, rage, emptiness and love, with a romantic and expressive style.

Each collage creates a duality of objective elements which are translated into a surreal image, where different feelings are represented by different parts of the composition: Flowers and women as delicate love and innocence, and violent strokes of paint that represent raw anger.

These works are driven by the way I feel at the time I create them. Whether is sadness or extreme euphoria, a poetic dialogue emerges from within my unconsciousness and turns sentiments and instincts into images.
