'Plastic World' is a series of photographs which highlight the ever-growing issue of plastic pollution. By obscuring the view of the scene using plastic, Cunningham hopes to symbolize the effect the pollution of plastic is having on the world around us. She hopes it encourages the viewer to consider their own use of the material and to be more mindful of how they use and dispose of it. This is an ongoing project.
