Paulina Kim Joo (1990)
builds, crafts and narrates on a place that is lost in history.
From South Korean parents, raised and born in Chile (South America),
she is part of a cultural and historical diaspora and displacement.
South Korea as many other countries, experienced a violent change
due economical development and globalization in the last 60 years.
Paulina builds from realities that do not exist anymore, but correspond
to the desire to meet things and places that only remain on memory.
The works are installations, objects, sculpture, costumes, written word
and finally most of the work exists as photographs.
