Hunter Henotic was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Through her childhood and adolescence, Henotic faced adversity through poverty, homelessness, and abuse. Despite the hardships, she graduated high school early and continued to attend St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas where she received a BA in Art Education. She has been an art educator, body modifier, gallery exhibitionist, and contributed to various publications. She continues to develop her work through her personal experiences and the exploration of the relation between sight, perception, and colors. Currently, her work is on view with Envision Arts online gallery exhibition PRISM. Hunter Henotic’s work was also published in June 2020 with Crosshatch Publishing.
