Whether it is a 30,000 year old painting on a cave wall or sharpie on a bathroom stall that says “I WAS HERE”, storytelling is humanity’s jewel in the dirt. I am in love with the mysteries contained in the human body: its relationship to reality, death, the earth, each other, everything.
I am concerned with depicting human survival and the generational transference of collective cultural memories that are passed on and remain in ‘that river in the blood’, in our DNA.
We are all part of a story- we cant remember the beginning and we dont know the ending.
The stories I want to tell are part past, part future; part mine and part other.
