Hong Kong - Oct 08, 2017 - To celebrate for the diamond jubilee of the Miramar Group, COCO café from the Mira Hotel has invited paper artist Candice Hui to transform the space with a fashionable twist.
Paper is always a favourite medium used by the artist, as she believes that even an ordinary material like paper can shine if value is added to it through good design and craftsmanship. Even “the finest diamond must be cut” and similarly every person is not born perfect and can be “refined.” - that's the notion of her work.
Using paper diamond® signature motif, Candice has created an undulating paper art wall with a gradient of green colours. Each tiny ‘diamond’ is folded delicately with a personal touch, forming a special piece each time.
