Optical Illustration
My hybrid photography creates digital imagery from analog photography .
My work stems from my experience in special effects photography during the 70’s
80’s and 90’s. During this period I worked with large format photography and optical printers.
My current works in abstract photography uses traditional motion control as well as
optical printing techniques. Optical and mechanical effects are combined to produce an array of special effects photography. Large format film is used to copy line art and create transparencies to support the imagery.
I like to experiment with movement, colour, texture and graphics.
