Onironautica is an ongoing exploration of the enigmatic dimensions of dreams, aiming to bridge the gap between the subconscious and conscious worlds through photography, visual arts, and interdisciplinary research. The term derives from the Greek words Ὄνειρος (dream) and ναύτης (sailor), embodying the idea of navigating the unconscious. This multi-phase project investigates the surreal nature of dreams, exploring their emotional, cultural, and personal significance while engaging with lucid dreaming techniques, interrogating artificial intelligence, revisiting the dream contradictions that the Surrealists examined in the early 20th century and balancing deeply personal experiences with broader, collective questions about identity, creativity and technology.
