Vancouver artist, Peter Ricq is launching his graphic novel Once Our Land 2 at Slice of Life (1636 Venables St. Vancouver, B.C.) on March 21, from 5PM to 9PM as a book launch/art show.
Once Our Land is a 1830's post-apocalyptic adventure, horror, period, fantasy graphic novel written and illustrated by Vancouver-based artist Peter Ricq.
The comic illustrations were made possible with the help of Jake Bilbao. This project was completed with additional help from Lina Le, Victoria Sieczka, Ana Doiz, Kinsey Clare Deakin, Juanita Ciabatta, Daynah Dee, Dane Armour, Fronc Ng, Wabi Sladi and Phil Ivanusic.
I wanted to share some of the covers and pages from the newly completed graphic novel sequel.
Once Our Land 1 was released in 2015 and sold out of its first 4 run of publication, turning it into a sought out collector's item.
