For me the best part of NYC in 80/90 was the raw chaos, the nutz shows every venue, every block. Life was a roll of the dice. Either you moved or grew with it. We all get nostalgic on what once was, but what do we do? Many people come to just visit NYC to see DIY, rare moments, performance wishing they could have ran into that energy.
We gotta keep that alive! The same as any culture. That is NY! Our city is changed.... that’s just reality. I stayed in NY for the rush of pure creativity, the wow! The O MAN. I wanna see more of an awareness of what NYC can do!
