These series of art pieces is subjectively depicting the permanent state of unreality of life on earth and the human experience spent in a dreamlike twilight. Thats why people in my works are with closed eyes or in the shadow. The fragility of charcoal helps me to show it. Our life is temporary and full of illusion, which is why we cannot enjoy it to the fullest. Even after seemingly being fully satisfied with what life has to offer, we are in constant search of something more. We are unable to see everything or feel it all, our knowledge is very limited and there is almost nothing we can control.
Real life is found in another world and, perhaps, we are all in search of how to get there.
