Noemie Weinstein’s painting and drawing practice seeks to represent precise moments in which spaces are receding. This corpus, from which all human presence is evacuated, is strewn with falling, unreal and disorienting architectures which, thanks to the fluid almost smoky pictorial treatments, compose dreamlike atmospheres. The spaces thus engage in a reflection on our relationship to time. Like a vague memory that resurfaces, I try to depict an impression of unreality, an experience of a change of scenery in the familiar.
