In a series of 10 paintings, the brilliant Nocturnes by F. Chopin are expressed in gouache, sand and oil pastels on paper. The atmosphere of this music: the melodic lines, the melancholic harmonies I have tried to represent through these black and white artworks. It concerns the nocturnes: opus 9: no.1, 2, 3 and opus 15: no.1 and 2. Size: 30x20 cm.
