As a young painter who grew up on Krk island, my focus lies in capturing the enigmatic motif of night. Through my paintings, I delve into the essence of our environments, using domestic objects as the threads that weave our everyday lives. By altering these familiar elements, I question the attitudes, fears, and unwritten rules that have shaped our surroundings and influenced our behavior within them. Drawing inspiration from film, I use strong shadows and lighting to evoke a sense of mystery and contemplation. Often incorporating symbolic elements and historical references, I invite viewers to reassess their connection to the world around them and embrace the night as a catalyst for introspection.
