Lauren’s personal focuses include the exploration of the self through the everyday life, the idea of femininity, as well as interior and exterior space. The primary focus on the importance of space, is to identify the significant emotional connections between people and places, particularly how the home influences and shapes you as a person.

In addition to the self her work touches upon the idea of nostalgia, this idea of sentimentality infiltrates all aspects of her work due to the personal themes explored. 

Lauren’s practice takes on a documentary style and is centred around the use of analogue mediums especially 120mm and 35mm.
