My artistic vision can be summed up as "life is my script, the streets my canvas, the people around me the stars". I carry my 35mm Pentax everywhere I go, aiming to capture the beauty in everyday life. Tri-X is my medium of choice, but break out Portra or Gold when I am feeling particularly colorful. While I shoot a variety of subjects and topics, the selection I have chosen to submit is a portion of my study on Nashville. My primary inspiration for this project has been the Flaneur, the saunterer, the stroller. Taken on aimless strolls about the city, I hope to capture Nashville through a modern, urbanist lens.
