In my work, I address situations that typify relations in the current, capitalist, Western world between people and between people, objects, space and time. Such situations are based on issues of posthumanism and cultural ecology, in particular, the ways how individuals (including objects and phenomena) create, form and deconstruct natural and cultural systems from private to public scale. These systems generally include the search for meaning and self-expression, individualism and competition, narcissism and digital culture, loneliness and the endless quest for love. My collection of drawings evolved from figurative human-centered to an abstract approach.
