Men Have Assumed A Lot is a visual unpacking of the ways in which men have assumed that I lack certain skills or abilities because I am a woman. The visualization of my rage is communicating my inner dialogue and desired physical response for each situation presented.
My rage takes the form of a hairy monster with large teeth and intense eyes based on my parent's dog who freely communicates his desires and frustrations without the restrain of social formalities.
This book was made for Women's History Month and will be on display in an exhibition showing books made by female faculty at the Steely Library at Northern Kentucky University for the entire month of March.
