My work is about doing associations from different collages that I work like puzzles. I use fragments of images which I juxtapose, invert, parody and mix to take them out of context producing weird sensations that invites trying to decipher what they might mean. In my drawings and paintings I don’ tell complete stories but pieces of them. I don’t do this to create an “elevated” or “object of worship” kind of art. My intention is to create art that is submerged in the popular culture by manifesting critical situations of the actual world in an ironic way.
